Oladeji Babalola was born in Nigeria, he is a Yoruba educator, consultant in Yoruba language and cultural orientation. He had his Bachelor’s degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife Nigeria and his Master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas USA respectively, He is a certified teacher and Distance Learning (Online) certified as well in united states of America. Baba Yoruba (Father of Yoruba) as he is fondly called has taught in different continents, Africa, Europe and North America. His sojourn to various countries in Europe and United States roused his passion for teaching his native language and culture. The passion coupled with having multilinguistic and multicultural immediate family led his dream of making Yoruba a universal language to be reckoned with, the world over. He is a Yoruba consultant in the University of Pennsylvania as well as the School of linguistics in Dallas Texas. His works include developing curriculum for integration of Yoruba language and culture into foreign education contents. He also produces and presents Yoruba programs on Abn Television, Houston Texas and roots Roots radio, Washington DC. Baba Yoruba is the founder of Lineage Alive Foundation which runs an institute for studying Yoruba language, Arts and culture in Houston, Texas presently. He is happily married and blessed with children.

Aderopo Ralph Wewe hails from Ondo State Nigeria. He studied Mathematics and graduated from Tai Solarin University of Education. He developed his passion for art and culture from his father, Tola Wewe a renowned artist in South western part of Nigeria. He proceeded further to complement what he learnt from his father at Nike Art Gallery, Osogbo to study textile art. From there he stated his own creations which he has exhibited around the world in France and Germany especially in 2014. He currently has an art workshop at Kurio Africanal Museum in Austin Texas. He lives presently in Texas, USA.


African percursion and dance class instructor

Ayandapo Azeez Kola, popularly known as ‘Azeez Bata’ was born into a family where singing, dancing and drumming is the only mean of livelihood. He is from a family of professional Bata drummers and dancers in Nigeria. Azeez Bata is now a world known professional Bata dancer. He is a member of Osun of Osun Bata Group dancers and also a member of Nike Art Gallery cultural group. He has been to many parts of the world to display his drumming and and exceptional dancing talent and skills in Ghana, Ethiopia, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, parts of Europe and USA for performances in different cultural shows.


ADEBAYO OLUFEMI ENIOLA, was born in the south west part of Nigeria. He had his elementary education in Nigeria and partly at Orvis Risner Elementary School, Edmond, Oklahoma USA. He had his secondary education where his passion for his native Yoruba language and culture began. He studied Biology and Chemistry at Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun before he proceeded further more on his education to University of Ado Ekiti, Nigeria from where he got his bachelor’s degree in Biology. While at the College of Education he had encounters and interactions with various lecturers and students Arts in the institution. There, he became the art work critic and consultant for sculpure makers, painting artists and dramatists at the college. He now specializes in curriculum formation and development in Yoruba language and culture teaching in formal and informal education settings. His works include research on the history of different tribes in Yoruba land and different Yoruba festivals, (unpublished). He is currently the homebase Yoruba language and culture consultant and researcher for Lineage Alive Foundation, Houston Texas in Nigera.


Adebiyi Oluyinka Adebisi was born in the south western part of Nigeria. A native of Ile-Ife in Osun state to be precise. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied management and accounting. He has flair for business and been born into a royal house paved way for an arousal and passion for Yoruba culture and tradition.

He has done various research and review on the cultural heritage of different Yoruba tribes in the south western part of Nigeria. He has participated in a lot of Yoruba cultural programs, festivals and ceremonies and currently doing a research on some major tourist centers in Yoruba land and the indigenous cultural beliefs of the residents as it relates to the monumental places. He is one of home based Consultant and Researcher on Yoruba language, Culture and Traditional Matters for Lineage Alive Foundation, Houston Texas. Happily married with children and currently resident in Nigeria.

Aderemi Ibrahim Tunde (ACE,CCNA) is a renowned Graphics Expert, Networking Don and Website Developer, A masters degree holder with strong passion for graphics and web development, Aderemi Ibrahim is an Adobe certified Expert (Allisson and Adobe) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (NH) with maximum proficiency in graphics and web development applications like Adobe Photoshop, Aurora 3D, 3DMax etc. and content management systems like Joomla, WordPress,Drupal,Opencart,Prestashop and co., with numerous awards including the NYSC SAED Entrepreneural Prize in 2014 to mention a few.

Aderemi also nurtures an undying zeal for culture and arts, as he used to be the national secretary of the national association of oduduwa students, his skills in the IT world merged with his passion for culture makes him a tool in achieving the Lineage Alive dream.
